I love your books. Especially fond of stand alone novels. Paperback preferred. Was excited to see this latest novel available now in paperback format which I have ordered through chapters.indigo.ca. I didn’t think Lynn Austin’s stories could get any better. Then I read Chasing Shadows. Austin tells a WWII story we must never forget in a fresh way. Evil is real. People make choices. Faith is a source of courage in very dark times. Read of ordinary people who did their part in the Dutch Resistance to keep neighbors, friends and strangers alive. Lynn Austin, thank you for telling another story in your masterful way.

You have written some of the best books ever written. Have read all and each gets better. Have just finished Chasing Shadows and was so encouraged by the people who did their part to keep others safe. You make the characters come alive. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next novel.
I do love most of your books and thank you for writing them. I also though find myself annoyed that so often there has to be a love story or more than one. Haven’t women moved beyond thinking we have to have a man in our life in order to be really happy. Can’t literature portray women without men sometimes? Especially Christian literature. It should not be part of the “happily ever after” culture that our society has promoted and than fairy tales promote. There is often no happily ever after and I wish Christian authors would portray true reality. The only thing that satisfies and makes us happy is Jesus. Not a man.
Is there an order to your books to read? I was told Waves of Mercy was first to read. If so I would like to read in that sequence. I could not find it on your website.

I just finished this book… wow!! So good!! My husband is really into war books and movies, I’ve never read a war book myself so I thought I’d check it out. When I got it from the library I didn’t realize it was a Christian book, what a pleasant surprise!! It was informative, eye opening, and emotional. I loved each of the characters. Now I’m going to read the rest of her books! Next, If I Were You!
Chasing Shadows was exceptional-great field of characters who had depth, and a well told story. I like historical fiction and the focus of this book, of the people of the Netherlands during WWII, was new for me and you made it very real. I was right there with them bicycling across the fields! I heartily recommend this book.
